We manufature and export ammonium polyphosphate(APP), total capacity 15000mt/year. With the environmental and firefighting awareness gradually increased, the new halogen-free flame retardant ammonium polyphosphate is more and more widely used and the market is also expanding. For intumescent paint/coatings, the essential compo-nents of intumescent systems include a binder(e.g. water based acrylic ), an acid donor as a dehydrating agent( e.g. APP) , a carbon donor (e.g. pentaerythritol) and a blowing agent (e.g. mela-mine). Advantage of APP: Cost saving Compared to other halgen-free systems, APP requires lower loadings ensuring lower cost, better properties retention and excellent flow. High performance APP allows FR materials to demonstrate: excellent processability, good retention of mechanical & electrical properties Environmentally-friendliness APP is an intumescent halogen-free FR which does not generate additional quantities of smoke. Application: APP-W used for compound liquid fertilizer and fire retardant for fibers (soak process) such as wood, paper, textile. APP I for powder extinguisher instead of MAP, and also for fibers fire retardant(slurry process). also used for intumescent coat. APP II for intumescent coating. Melamine treated APPII for intumescent coating and plastic.Flame Retardant Plastic is a big market. APP02-E, especial for Epoxy resin, a kind of plastic.
